Day 72 of 100 Day Raw Food Challenge- Yummy Salad

Today I talk about a yummy salad, and tell you a silly story about a bird in my old neighborhood in Atlanta.

The video mysteriously fades out after I talk about the salad. I guess my computer thought that was enough Bunny for the day.

hi bunny. this video seemed to end short? i watched it on youtube as well and it did the same? hmm, oh well!

i am hesitant to promise anything, but i think i want to do this challenge as well. i've been transitioning to raw for about 2 months now...and its been hard. great days/good days/bad days/realllly bad days. but if im going to do this, i couldn't think of a better support system than you and the community here. we all love you, so there's our first thing in common! :)

the main reason why i want to do this is because i am watching my grandmother get older and it's awfully painful. shes been super healthy up til now, she's 89 (god bless her) and still ticking. but the tick is slowing down fast. today she actually fell and broke her hip. (which is something you never wish upon an elder)...it's going to be difficult for her to recover from this, especially at her age. its so sad, i love her to death but feel i need to start preparing for her leaving us. (but thats a whole other topic) anyways...witnessing someone grow old, especially at an age (i am 24) old enough to understand everything thats happening, is tough and is really making me think even more about my own health. i think its everyones wish to age gracefully. unfortunately most people don't realize they can take matters into their own hands and not just rely upon the inevitable painful aging process. i truly believe going raw is one HUGE step in easing the process of getting older. i reaaaaaly could do without the aches and pains and complaints and moods and forgetfulness.

im a believer in things happening for a reason. i think your video announcing that you're going to do another challenge and the timing of my grandma's fall came at the same time for a reason. so i want to thank you for that. i think you are very courageous to do another challenge. i just hope i am too!

thanks bunny!

p.s. more outdoor videos! they make me smile =)

Dear Bunny! How fun to be outside and see your pretty and lush yard and watch the happy dogs. Seems so peaceful. I'm right there with you for the challenge too. I'm actually on week 7 of being 100% raw, so won't be on the same time frame as you but I'll be rooting for you. And the overall support from watching you and reading everyone's inspiring comments helps me stay sane too. Enjoy Life!

Love the outdoor video. Your dogs are sooo cute. Such stunning eyes on your little black dog.
I have to agree with yesterday's commenter about checking out Doug Graham's 80-10-10 raw plan. It's so satisfying and will def take your challenge and your health up a few notches.

Love your baby doggies! I need to post pictures of my Ginger and Eddie. Ginger is a little obese, so I think I'll put them on a 100 day raw dog food challenge with all of us come August.

Your salad sounds mouth watering good. I cracked up about "BMma", your neighbor. You're the best.

I think I'm going to join you on your next challenge! We've (me and seven kiddos) have been following your blog and we all love it. You are so funny and my 3 year old twins think it is hysterical when you say "Eat your veggies", they walk around the house wagging their fingers, yelling, "Eat your veggies!"

I am committing to the next 100 Raw Food Challenge with you!

Hi I am in Texas home of the greasy BBQ. I am ready to change and go raw. I have tried before and I wouldent say i failed but some of the recipies didnt turn out like I would have thought. I have been transitioning over this past year into vegetarianism. That in itself was a difficult journey and honestly i am not 100% there. I have made my decision to go raw or atleast go vegetarian because I just cant stand meat anyway. I dont like the taste of blood and I defiitly think Chicken has a weird taste to it. The harder foods are going to be giving up rice which is cooked. Also some breads.
Have you tried the rejuvalac water? I tried to make that and Yes something went terribly wrong. I am thankful to have you share your journey and the fact that you show us step by step how to make the stuff helps alot.
PS I love the picture with the glasses super cute.
