Day 73 of 100 Day Raw Food Challenge: Boys in the Garden

This video was taken last night as Basil and Beckett planted the herb garden in our backyard. We're getting a late start as far as the gardening is concerned, but with these two farmers on the job, I think we'll have a bumper crop.

Good thing I'm not on garden duty. I can't even remember if my dog, Gizmo, is a girl or a boy. I've never had a boy dog before! I can't help it! I call all dogs girls!

That's precious.

Beckett is the spitting image of you. That video is the sweetest thing ever. Can I come live in your "guest house?" I saw it in the back ground. Even though I'm obsessed with wanting an AirStream, that rig you got looks pretty good.

Good for you on your raw journey! Wow, 20 pounds, that is great! I too went on a raw diet a little over 6 months ago and the results have been, after 5 months no more diabetes or high blood pressure and I lost 45 pounds. This has all been confirmed by my doctor who was very surprised as he had never heard of the raw lifestyle. The first months were a little challenging because I had to learn that what I thought and considered as being raw, in a lot of cases were not and I am still on that journey. I finally found a raw olive oil (cold pressed olive oils are still cooked to be filtered, and when I get that I guess I will be at the point of being 100% raw). I have gotten a lot of support on the free site www.goneraw.com. They have almost 3,000 recipes and a great forum. I plan on never going backed to cooked as I don’t want to be sick again and I think I enjoy my food now more than most SAD eaters do.
Your family is adorable and I love the dogs. I have two, myself. Keep it up and I encourage you to continue to grow and get well. Just think, in two years most all of your body will be replaced by those new raw supported cells.
