Day 46 of 100 Day Raw Food Challenge: Vanity

Today I talk about vanity, and how I didn't realize I was vain until I got fat.

Beautiful Bunny,

That is the raw truth. When we come down to it what we want is to give and receive love. The package is of less importance. It is nice that you and I are losing weight on raw foods, but the greater benefit is that we have more energy to give the love that we have inside. The weight loss is a bonus, but it's not everything.

Thanks for the joy that you bring into my life!

Tons of raw love,

Viv

Bunny,
You are such an inspiration. Thank you for this video. I have days, sometimes a week long where I don't want to leave the house. I don't want someone at the grocery store to think, "she doesn't need more food. Look at the junk in that trunk!". I have a 2 and 3 year old that love me to pieces though and at moments I feel so beautiful because of them. Because of the way my little girl (2)touches me and tells me "pretty mamma". Because of the way my little boy (3) wants hugs and kisses no matter where we are.

Thank you

Tami

AMEN!!!!!!

This is the most beautiful blog you've made to date. And you don't need makeup (that's not something I tell everyone because it would be a lie; but you truly don't!).

You are such an inspiration for me. In fact I was telling my therapist about your videos today, and how beneficial it has been for me to connect with someone else who's struggled with some of the things I've struggled with, but who's making positive strides towards reclaiming life and health.

You ARE beautiful, inside and out, and I feel so blessed that you've crossed my path. Thank you.

Thank you for such a lovely posting :-)

You know, I've SELDOM met anyone who wasn't vain about SOMETHING ...

Bless you for revealing the lip gloss.

Love, Antony xx

I love your honesty. It's beautiful. Such interesting questions that we don't often think about. "Sure I feel great about myself, but what if X changed?"

And you look great!

Bunny you are amazing. i am a counselor and it takes most of my counselees more than 44 days to open up like you have. You are truly an inspiration. Your transparency is refreshing in a world where everyone hides what they feel for fear of condemnation.
I love your blog, and while I am eating raw or trying to I feel positively uplifted and refreshed after watching your video. I hope they won't be ending after 100 days.
You are amazing and beautiful and a true woman.

This vanity vid made me tear up a bit, 'cause I remember when I was "tsssss, hot" and skinny and felt confident. For a while I thought I was comfortable with me the way I was on the outside, but I was uncomfortable on the inside. Now that I'm thinner, I'm beginning to think back on how miserable I really was, only holding it all in.
You're lovely and I'm having fun checking in on your video blogs! I hope you don't "become all that" because you're already all that with us!
Oh, and by the way, I like the pink lip gloss with nothing else look.

Bunny,
Lovin your video blog! I am day 11 into my 90% raw for 90 days. A friend sent me a link to you after I announced my Adventure. I would love to share info with you! Check my blog out at blog.enrgpath.com

As for the kale: one of my friends makes a great kale salad by adding sea salt to the kale and gently kneading it then adding veggies, herbs, and olive oil. Then she stuffs this into a cucumber! I will get the link to the recipe and forward it to you.

Raw Joy!
Angela
